i Vida en la Obra Espanol!

I got transferred into Spanish work!! Its still me and Schwegs! Not gonna lie I am so much better at English work than spanish work! I have little to no idea what these people are saying sometimes. Its like they're trying to speak to me? What? They don't move there mouths when they talk so sometimes its sounds like lsajdflsakdfj;ldfalskjdflksajdf coming out of their mouths. I get out of some lesson and ask Schwegler what just happened. Its frustrating and I feel like I'm gonna cry sometimes but I just have to keep working hard and be patient with myself. We all know how I feel about patience. Its like the Lord wants me to learn something... I wonder what it could be. ;) But I will get it. It's only been a week. And apparently I need to give myself more credit!

We white-washed into this area. Meaning that we are both new to the area. Its funny I'm actually going to "kill" my trainer (she goes home this next transfer) in the area that she was "born" in. This is her first area!

I GET TO GO TO THE TEMPLE THIS WEEK!!!!!!! I'm so stoked you don't even understand! I've been wanting to go since like the day I got into the MTC! I feel like its going to help me tons!

The Bishop in this ward, or should I say the Obispo, served his mission in the Bajia Blanca mission in Argentina! His wife is FROM Buenos Aires! :) Obispo said that he is going to have us over for dinner and have his wife make argentine food! :)  She speaks beautifully! I can't wait to speak like her!  It will come. Just gotta keep working!

We are teaching this guy that wants to be baptized and meet with us like everyday that he possibly can. He's already been to church 4 times and he asked us last night "que cosas necesito para ser bautizado?"  What things do i need to do to be baptized! WHAT?!

I think this is funny but maybe i'm just being me....we are teaching like 4 Jose's bahahahaha oh dear. 4! so Mexican!

Stupid gringa moment of the week...because I'm sure I will be having many! :

We went to this inactive couples house and she was telling us that her daughter is going to have a baby. Her married name is now De los Santos and she was telling us the names her daughter was thinking about. I have no idea that i said this out loud but I was like "Historia de los santos" and she was like confused. So was I. So i try and play it off like it was a name?? And she was like I have no idea what's going on. So my comp had to cut in and say something. Yeah....just yeah....hahahahahaha I'm an idiot! But it made me feel better when they were talking about this flower that they have in Mexico called something nardas....my companion says NARGAS instead!?! WHAT?!!?! Its was hilarious and we are both gringas!

Lots of things going on a home then? I hope that mom and Brooktynn you are getting better! Meredith I wish I could look at your blog but I can't :( Jordan...say hello to Chaske Spencer for me at this AWESOME film festival that Dad is putting on! Sara....I haven't heard from you but like ONCE when I was in the MTC! I told Ruben already that at least it wasn't McAllen Texas like Dad guessed specifically but dad you DID get Texas!

Love you all lots!! I know that this gospel is true and is for EVERYONE. One of the mission goals is to see everyone in white. Not just for baptism but to go to the temple to be sealed for time and all eternity with their families! We don't just stop at baptism. This is an eternal and individual gospel with goals much higher than we dream for ourselves! I'm so excited to help in the work of salvation for my living brothers and sisters! This gospel is so true. It not only feels right but it just makes sense. Heavenly Father loves us too much for this work and the doctrines taught in the church not to be true. We are children of a loving and living Heavenly Father. Our Savior Lives and Loves us so much that he provided a way through His selfless sacrifice to return to live with God. Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I can't wait to listen to what he has to say this weekend. The Book of Mormon changes lives! It is so true! I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God that restored these truths to the earth. I'm so grateful I was born into a family that keeps their covenants and taught me in the ways of the gospel and that my siblings are teaching their children this too!

Love you so much!

The church is true!
