Familia!
Today was ...busy...overwhelming and kinda awesome.
Thanks for bringing my bag back. Can't believe I forgot that!
I'm
hoping that what dad said in his blessing to me about my tongue being
quick with Spanish starts right away. I had a huge blank stare.
My companion is from Farmington and 19. So far so good.
She certainly seems pretty cool. I've just got to relate more and get
past the awkwardness of the first day.
I am the oldest
one in my district...by a LOT. The second oldest just turned 20. We've
got a couple 18 year olds. One is particularly fantastic. He's a UTE and
tries to get me riled up about Jimmer, You'll be happy to know I've
only had to hold my tongue once. The rest of the time I let it go. Another Hermana has better facial expressions than me. It's hilarious!
I'm learning a
lot already. Its surreal. I'm speaking some awesome Spanglish. :)
There are times I think "What am I doing"? I just want to go home or
call my mommy and hug my daddy but then I grasp a concept or pronounce a
word right and I think "I can do this"! Whom the Lord call he qualifies.

HAPPY 4th! Today was busy. Lots of classes and Spanglish! We "met" our investigator.
P.S. that photo album made me tear up but I love it!
It's day 2 and I feel like I've been here 3 weeks. I've still got a long way to go but I've learned so much!
Sorry this one's so short. Oh! Before I have lights out...
We
watched "17 Miracles" as a MTC tonight as a special treat for
Independence Day. I couldn't help but think of the sacrifice those
pioneers made. With their last breath some of them were still enduring
and inspiring.
"It will all be worth it if my posterity stays
faithful." How can I feel sorry for myself when others have gone
through a lot worse. Heck this mission is already helping me more than I
thought.
We got to watch fireworks so we are in bed later...it's 11:30! Ah!
(Still working on grammar!)
Yo se que la iglesia de Jesucristo es verdadero.
Yo se que nuestro Padre Celestial es realidad y un quiere nosotros.
I LOVE YOU! SO MUCH! Te quiero
I miss and pray for you!
Love Hermana Zendejas
